Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer you will join our client’s team and contribute to building and maintaining robust backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly in delivering REST API solutions, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to mission-critical systems in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Your main responsibilities: Developing and maintaining backend systems using Java, SQL and related technologies

• Cooperating with Quality Assurance, Business Analyst, Product Managers and Product Owners
• Performing regular code reviews and committing the code on a daily basis
• Participating in maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of continued experience in software development and software engineering preferably in large corporate institutions or business critical functions
• Strong collaboration skills and enjoy working in team-oriented atmosphere
• Familiar with the latest technologies. E.g. Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and DB2/Oracle
• Solid background and experience in developing in Java Spring (Framework, Boot, Batch)
• Hands on knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, REST, Maven and Junit
• Familiar with agile methodologies

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Java Reactive Programming, Hibernate/JPA
• Experience building highly available applications
• Experience working in the financial industry
