Senior Java Developer – AI and Financial Technology

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial technology industry, focusing on integrating advanced AI tools into scalable systems. You will contribute to pioneering AI adoption using Java and Spring Boot within a collaborative, cross-team environment. Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize Java-based applications and AI-powered features employing Spring Boot, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Lead the adoption and integration of AI-SDLC tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Copilot Extensions within development workflows.
• Design and implement agentic and multi-agent system architectures, including ReAct patterns, MCP, and orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate on integrating LLMs via APIs, embeddings, vector databases, and ensuring observability and security in AI systems.
• Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions on AI workflows, agentic development, and security best practices.
• Contribute to specification-driven development processes, ensuring scalable and maintainable codebases.
• Support continuous delivery and deployment pipelines with a focus on AI system integration.
• Engage in cross-team collaboration to foster innovative AI-driven solutions in finance.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT, with extensive Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• At least 1+ year of hands-on experience deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of agent-based architectures such as ReAct, MCP, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with Spring AI, LangChain4j, LLM API integrations, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Familiarity with observability tools for AI systems and development of specification-driven solutions.
• Proven ability to lead workshops and facilitate technical discussions.
• A background in STEM disciplines.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with Angular, Python, or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of enterprise LLM integrations and advanced AI security measures.

Language required for the role:

• Polish: Good command
• English: Communicative level
