As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, contributing to a high-impact project aimed at revolutionizing their banking services using AI-driven solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced AI-based systems that enhance services such as fraud detection, customer service, and risk management. This role provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team and leverage cutting-edge machine learning technologies to create innovative solutions in a highly regulated industry.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop AI-driven systems for banking services
• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance AI algorithms and models
• Conducting research on AI and machine learning technologies to enhance existing systems
• Ensuring seamless integration of AI solutions with other banking applications and infrastructure
• Writing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for AI systems
• Monitoring and evaluating AI systems’ performance, making adjustments for optimal results
• Ensuring compliance with industry best practices, data privacy, and security regulations
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for AI systems as needed
• Staying updated on AI advancements to keep systems innovative and competitive
• Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming languages
• Proven experience in AI and machine learning development, especially within the banking industry
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) technologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience in developing and maintaining scalable and high-performance systems
• Strong commitment to data privacy and security
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance
• Prior experience in DevOps practices
