Senior PMO Manager

Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 80% remotely!

As a Senior PMO Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, supporting the Data & Analytics Office (DAO) project. The DAO spearheads a data-driven culture by implementing strategies such as Fix The Back Book, Engage Colleagues, and Build Sustainable Capabilities.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Supporting the IRR Programme Director in delivering business plans within objectives
  • Driving planning across project and programme deliverables within the IRR roadmap
  • Ensuring quality reporting on delivery status updates and specialized IRR reporting
  • Managing resource plans and overseeing budgets for deliverables
  • Monitoring and managing delivery governance arrangements adhering to Client’s Change Framework
  • Acting as the Change Framework subject matter expert, providing advice and training
  • Monitoring RAID issues and escalating them to resolution
  • Proactively tracking benefits and OKRs against targets
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing expertise on agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a PMO manager/governance manager role
  • Experience in data-related and/or regulatory reporting change, preferably in financial services
  • Understanding/knowledge of data and best practices
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with agile management tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills to understand complex challenges
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in designing and implementing process improvement initiatives
  • Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certification in project management or agile methodologies
  • Previous experience in leading process improvement initiatives
