Senior QA Engineer

Warsaw-based opportunity with the possibility to work partly remotely!

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Warsaw software engineering team and will play a crucial role in helping the team define the technology roadmap of healthcare for the next-generation data engineering platform. You will have the opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.

Your main responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive test plans to document the overall testing strategy

• Execute detailed testing procedures to ensure software meets quality standards
• Implement improvements to existing testing processes and develop models for future enhancements
• Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements to software systems
• Conduct complex software tests to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects
• Document and track all issues encountered during testing for resolution
• Establish advanced software test standards and methodologies
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical leadership and support
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines
• Evaluate and select appropriate software testing tools and techniques

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing
• Deep understanding of QA processes and best practices
• Strong coding skills, particularly in Python
• Extensive experience with automation frameworks, preferably Robot Framework
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Docker for integration and deployment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
