Senior Scheduling & Workload Automation Product Owner

As a Senior Scheduling & Workload Automation Product Owner, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services technology. You will drive the strategic development of the Scheduling and Workload Automation (SWA) capability within the enterprise integration platform, enabling seamless, automated operations across diverse environments. This role offers a unique chance to influence large-scale enterprise processes and foster innovation in a regulated financial ecosystem.

Your main responsibilities:

• Own and develop the SWA capability roadmap, aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders worldwide around clear, impactful outcomes.
• Manage demand intake, backlog prioritization, and deliver continuous improvements across the full product lifecycle.
• Define epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements to ensure clarity and precision.
• Engage with global distributed teams to gather requirements, communicate progress, and foster stakeholder collaboration.
• Improve platform resilience, automation, onboarding, and user experience, balancing new needs with technical debt and risk management.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure platform stability, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with security, controls, audit, and regulatory standards within a highly regulated environment.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to deliver high-impact solutions that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or senior technology delivery role in complex environments.
• Proven track record owning large-scale technical products or platforms, especially in enterprise or financial services.
• Strong skills in roadmap development, demand management, backlog prioritization, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with on-premises environments, particularly Linux and/or mainframe technologies.
• Background working with production operations, incident, and change management.
• Knowledge of risk, controls, security, and compliance in regulated settings.
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with BMC Control-M and/or IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).
• Knowledge of enterprise scheduling, workload automation, or batch processing services.
• Over 5 years' broader experience in platform engineering, operations, or enterprise integration.

Language required for the role: Fluent English.
