As a Software Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial organization focusing on innovation and excellence in software solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge applications while ensuring their scalability and reliability through advanced cloud technologies. This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive quality through automated testing frameworks, contributing to mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities: Designing and implementing automated tests to ensure software quality and performance

• Developing and maintaining software applications that meet high standards and specifications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable software solutions
• Utilizing cloud technologies to enhance application performance and scalability
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software and automated tests
• Improving testing practices and processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness
• Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software delivery
• Ensuring compliance with development standards and best practices
• Monitoring application performance and implementing necessary improvements
• Documenting processes and maintaining high-quality technical documentation

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cucumber
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation
• A proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Advanced certifications in cloud platforms or Agile methodologies
• Expertise in performance testing tools and techniques
• Experience in financial software systems or regulatory environments
• Familiarity with advanced data structures and algorithms
• Success in implementing large-scale, complex software solutions
