As a Specialist Financial and Regulatory Reporting, you will be working for our client, a leading global online banking infrastructure provider that drives the transformation of financial markets. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and open-minded team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will contribute to maintaining the integrity of general ledger accounting, assist in preparing financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS, and support various departments in meeting regulatory and management reporting requirements, all within an international and collaborative environment.

Your main responsibilities: Process daily business activities and maintain accounting records by booking and reconciling accounting documents

  • Carry out monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for selected entities
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with applicable GAAP and assist in auditing processes
  • Monitor and reconcile asset accounting and foreign exchange valuations
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure accurate regulatory and management reporting

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 4 years of practical experience in international financial accounting and reporting, including at least 2 years in a general ledger function
  • Education in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Experience with Asset Accounting
  • Fluency in English, with German as a strong advantage
  • Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Openness to process improvements and adapting to change
