Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)
As a Technical Lead, you will be working for our client, a global financial services organization that is modernizing its payments and integration platforms. You will be guiding a cross-functional team in designing and maintaining secure, scalable applications and services, while ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business needs. The role involves driving innovation by reducing complexity through modern integration approaches, mentoring engineers, and fostering DevOps practices to support both cloud and on-premises deployments. This is an opportunity to shape critical payment solutions used worldwide.
Your main responsibilities: Owning the technical delivery of development projects
- Leading and mentoring team members to ensure high performance
- Communicating progress and challenges on behalf of the development team
- Building and supporting services, microservices, and applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Seeburger BIS
- Designing integration solutions using APIs, MuleSoft, Kafka, and microservices patterns
- Implementing automated testing frameworks to reduce testing costs
- Managing payment services portfolios on both cloud and on-premises hosting
- Supporting and maintaining service-related interfaces through APIs and orchestration layers
- Applying Agile and DevOps methodologies with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and Maven
- Collaborating with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate requirements into sprint deliverables
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong expertise in Java 17+
- Solid knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with database technologies, especially Oracle
- Hands-on experience with microservices and associated patterns
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles
- Experience working with ETL solutions
- Knowledge of HTTP web technologies and JavaScript
- Ability to manage code releases using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Maven
- Experience collaborating in Agile teams with business stakeholders
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with ReactJS
- Knowledge of MQ technologies
- Familiarity with Postgres databases
- Cybersecurity awareness
- Experience with Seeburger BIS (ETL)
