As a Vulnerability Management Reporting Analyst, you will be working for our Client, a leading financial institution focused on enhancing cybersecurity reporting capabilities. You will be a key part of the CSAT Vulnerability Management Reporting Team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cybersecurity reports and dashboards. Your role will involve providing crucial data insights and creating detailed reports to drive risk-based remediation and continuous improvement in the organization’s security posture.
Your main responsibilities: Designing, building, and maintaining detailed and accurate reporting of vulnerability data
- Driving continual improvement in reporting capabilities through thematic analysis
- Producing routine operational reports by exporting large datasets from existing sources
- Providing clear, concise, and insightful commentary to complement the data and metrics
- Responding to ad hoc management information data requests and delivering thematic trend analysis
- Reviewing automated reports for data variances and implementing action plans to resolve issues
- Validating data sets for accuracy and quality
- Designing and producing metrics for vulnerability management, such as Key Control Indicators (KCIs)
- Maintaining operational documentation on available reports and how to access existing filters
- Supporting the preparation of governance and control meeting submissions for vulnerability management reporting
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
- Understanding of Azure cloud (Databricks and SQL Analytics)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, such as threats and vulnerabilities
- Skills in Excel macros, advanced formulas, and pivot table functions
- High level of integrity and strong ethical values
- Excellent organizational, administrative, analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to work on reports and presentations for senior management
- Intermediate VBA scripting or programming language skills
- Knowledge of the vulnerability management lifecycle
- Experience with scanning technologies (e.g., Nessus, SAST, MAST, and DAST scanning)
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, PowerShell, VBA scripting)
- Proven track record of delivering activities on time to a high standard
- Excellent understanding of SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Confluence
