Markets Controller Senior Analyst

As a Markets Controller Senior Analyst, you will be working for our client, a biggest financial institution. You will be responsible for support the Finance team by ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of the bank’s books and records. Key responsibilities include data integrity, general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution, new business analysis, valuation control, and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.

Your main responsibilities: Apply in-depth industry knowledge towards the development of new techniques and improving processes or work-flow for the Finance department

• Serve as a subject matter expert within Finance
• Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations
• Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Proven working experience as a project/people manager in the financial sector
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Fair understanding of financial markets
• Understanding of current global accounting and regulatory environment
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Fluent English
