Business Analyst

Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 60% remote.

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions and ensuring seamless integration of digital products into existing workflows. You will play a pivotal role in the creation and delivery of innovative features, aligning them with business needs to provide exceptional customer journeys.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Reviewing high-level business requirements and turning them into detailed user stories
  • Collaborating with the Product Owner to create and manage a prioritized backlog of user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Working with SMEs and IT teams to define, agree on, and deliver MVPs (Minimum Viable Products)
  • Participating in sprints and scrums to drive the analysis, design, build, test, and delivery processes
  • Coordinating with the Digital Delivery Manager to maintain and execute the integrated product delivery plan
  • Engaging with global and regional teams, vendors, and domain owners to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Discussing technical implementation details with technology partners
  • Communicating risks, issues, and resolutions to the Digital Delivery Manager and senior management
  • Reviewing and testing product releases with SMEs and business teams before roll-out
  • Ensuring the product delivers an efficient, enjoyable, and customer-centric experience

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst delivering AGILE IT projects in the Banking and Finance sectors
  • Hands-on experience with Digital Projects or Digital Transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with Domestic and Cross-border Payments or Transaction Management
  • Expertise in requirements investigation, stakeholder analysis, and requirements engineering
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to create SMART high-level EPICs and detailed User Stories
  • Ability to reconcile information from multiple sources and identify underlying business needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to progress tasks independently
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience adhering to and adapting BA processes according to organizational and project needs

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Understanding of workflow and publishing systems
  • Experience with multi-language content sites
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design and delivery processes
