Mobile Test Engineer

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Mobile Test Engineer you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution committed to transforming wealth management through cutting-edge mobile technology. The client is developing an innovative digital investment platform designed to provide users with seamless access to investment products including ETFs, mutual funds, and shares. You will be contributing to a mobile-first solution built on a scalable, secure framework that redefines how millions of customers interact with their portfolios.

Your main responsibilities: Collaborating closely with the Scrum development team to validate mobile solutions for iOS and Android

• Designing and executing detailed test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing
• Performing functional, regression, performance, and security testing
• Identifying and managing defects using bug tracking tools and coordinating resolution with developers
• Participating in Scrum ceremonies and reporting on testing progress
• Reviewing user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure they are complete and testable
• Continuously improving testing strategies and adopting new QA methodologies
• Conducting usability testing across various devices and platforms
• Ensuring test coverage of mobile operating systems and device-specific behaviors
• Aligning with cross-functional teams on project goals and deliverables

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience as a Mobile QA Tester for iOS and Android applications
• Proficiency with tools like Appium, Selenium, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ceremonies
• Strong understanding of mobile platforms, devices, and testing best practices
• Solid experience with both manual and automated testing techniques
• Experience using bug tracking tools such as JIRA
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced Agile setting

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of test automation scripting in Java or Python
• Background in wealth management or fintech applications
• Exposure to PlatformHub or similar scalable mobile development frameworks
• Experience conducting performance or security-specific mobile testing
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
