As a Python Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology for data management and innovation. The client is expanding their data integration team to enhance their Generative AI solutions, aiming to unlock new insights and improve decision-making processes. This role focuses on developing and integrating data pipelines and microservices to support advanced AI applications, driving efficiency and innovation within the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and building data transfer pipelines for Generative AI models
• Creating microservices and integrating them with overall AI solutions
• Developing data models and pipelines to support Retrieval-Augmented Generation
• Sourcing data from various systems and ensuring synchronization with AI models
• Implementing RESTful APIs using Python FastAPI
• Utilizing and maintaining data within Elasticsearch and other time-series databases
• Writing and executing basic shell scripts for automation
• Managing code using industry-standard version control tools like Git and GitHub
• Collaborating with the team to adapt to changing requirements and technologies
• Engaging in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from development to deployment

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience with Python and Unix/Linux environments
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud services
• Knowledge of Generative AI APIs and their application
• Background in building data models and data pipelines
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Experience with version control tools like Git and GitHub
• Skills in automated deployment tools such as Ansible and Jenkins
• Understanding of big data modeling techniques
• Ability to work proactively and adapt quickly to new challenges
• Strong communication skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Understanding or experience with Cloud design patterns
• Experience in shell scripting
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and Python FastAPI
