Senior Fullstack Developer– Java & React (Finance Sector)

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution committed to transforming and modernizing its core business systems. You will join a fast-paced technology team focused on delivering scalable, cloud-based applications that support financial compliance, data quality, and analytics across multiple departments. This role is crucial to enhancing automation, streamlining workflows, and improving the overall digital infrastructure that underpins key regulatory and financial processes.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and maintain fullstack applications using Java, React, and AWS

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data workflows and implementation plans
• Create and document high-level and detailed technical designs
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies as required by the project
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions within the team

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of software development experience with a focus on Java
• Proven experience with React and cloud platforms like AWS
• A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Familiarity with SQL and relational or columnar databases
• The ability to work independently and in a global team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
