As a Test Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in innovative financial solutions, helping to deliver high-quality software in Agile delivery environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of robust and effective technology solutions across diverse business units and geographies. Leveraging modern testing strategies, automation tools, and continuous integration practices, you will help maintain and improve software quality while supporting functional queries and production issues with precision and agility.

Your main responsibilities: Developing and executing test strategies, plans, and cases for all project phases

  • Collaborating with Agile engineering teams to ensure quality assurance in DevOps environments
  • Creating and managing automated tests to enable continuous integration and deployment
  • Supporting production issues and addressing functional queries on a priority basis
  • Assuring delivery quality across the project lifecycle, from requirements to deployment
  • Defining and tracking key performance metrics for software products
  • Driving improvements in Agile team performance and outcomes
  • Ensuring adherence to Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFE
  • Supporting projects of medium size and complexity across multiple geographies
  • Promoting a culture of measurable continuous improvement in all testing activities

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in Agile engineering practices, including Scrum, Kanban, or LEAN
  • Strong understanding of test automation tools and continuous integration methodologies
  • Expertise in developing test plans, test strategies, and test cases
  • Experience working on medium-complexity projects across multiple business units
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support production issues effectively
  • Experience with tracking and reporting key performance and delivery metrics
  • Excellent organizational and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration
  • Technical knowledge in areas such as core banking, microservices, or finance

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Experience with Disciplined Agile or SAFE framework
  • Familiarity with performance testing and related metrics
  • Previous experience in testing solutions in the payments domain
  • Proficiency in advanced testing tools or frameworks
