As a Security and Derivatives Senior Analyst, you will be working for our client, a major global financial institution with a broad international footprint, supporting trading operations across diverse markets. The client focuses on providing robust financial services while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. In this role, you will contribute to the processing and analysis of complex securities and derivatives transactions, support risk mitigation efforts, and assist in enhancing the efficiency of operational workflows through analytical insights and process improvements.

Your main responsibilities: Process securities and derivatives transactions across multiple markets

  • Support traders by providing analytical input and transaction insights
  • Monitor transaction flow and identify issues impacting settlement
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve processing discrepancies
  • Analyze reports to support management decision-making and control efforts
  • Recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Participate in control activities and new product/service implementation
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audit and risk assessments
  • Escalate unresolved issues while contributing to long-term solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in securities or derivatives operations
  • Strong understanding of Treasury products and financial regulations
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with settlement systems and post-trade processes
  • Working knowledge of risk management in financial operations
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate clearly
  • Experience supporting compliance and control-related initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of macros
