Senior Android Developer

Join the Mobile Banking Revolution as an Android Developer!

Łódź-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 times in the office/month).

As a Senior Android Developer you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, supporting the development of digital banking solutions. You will join a cross-functional team of Android, iOS, and backend developers, QA engineers, analysts, and Scrum Masters. The project involves delivering and maintaining high-quality mobile banking applications in a scalable, modularized architecture, using Kotlin and modern Android development tools. You will be part of an Agile environment with a strong focus on code quality, test automation, and continuous integration practices.

Your main responsibilities: Implement new features for Android applications using Kotlin

• Monitor, analyze and resolve issues in existing code
• Maintain high code quality by writing unit and automated tests
• Lead project development tasks and coordinate technical implementation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members during sprints
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Integrate third-party libraries and tools as needed
• Contribute to architecture decisions for a multimodule project
• Support deployment and release processes

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in Android development
• Excellent command of Kotlin and Android SDK
• Experience working on modularized Android projects
• Familiarity with Dagger, RxJava and Coroutines
• Ability to write and maintain automated, unit and integration tests
• Understanding of Continuous Integration principles
• Experience in documenting and maintaining clean code
• Strong English skills for technical discussions and correspondence
• Practical knowledge of Scrum methodology
• Experience collaborating with product and feature owners

Nice to have:

• Experience as DevOps
• Knowledge of project design patterns
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, Confluence
• Accessibility knowledge
