Senior Automation Tester

As a Senior Automation Tester, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution specializing in innovative online banking solutions. You will be at the forefront of enhancing the Client’s platform, which provides a comprehensive suite of cash management, trade, and global market solutions. In this role, you will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, while also contributing to manual testing efforts to ensure the highest quality and performance of the platform.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing test automation using Java, Selenium WebDriver, IntelliJ, Maven, JUnit, and Cucumber
• Conducting API testing with tools like Postman, RestAssured, and Tosca
• Reviewing and updating existing automation frameworks
• Stabilizing and updating the regression suite to align with the latest code base
• Designing and maintaining various regression packs in sync with release schedules
• Supporting test transformation initiatives and implementing best practices
• Participating in Sprint planning sessions and providing sequencing for user story development
• Providing informed estimates and metrics based on application knowledge and testing experience
• Enhancing continuous improvement efforts within the testing program
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders and contributing to project success

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in test automation with Selenium and Java
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, Tosca, or Karate
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and Java concepts
• Experience working in agile environments with hands-on knowledge of JIRA
• Skills in manual testing and creating test scenarios from requirement documents
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and planning abilities
• Knowledge of business and organizational issues
• Ability to follow up on performance level agreements and provide continuous feedback

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Familiarity with integration tools such as Grid Server and BrowserStack
