Senior Business Analyst

Location: Warszawa – based opportunity with hybrid work model (1 day/week in the office)

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading bank and financial institution offering a wide range of services to individuals, small businesses, and large corporations. You will join a team responsible for projects covering electronic trading processes, business analysis, and support in the valuation of derivative instruments. You will closely collaborate with business and technology experts to ensure the effective implementation of solutions that meet the needs of a dynamically changing financial market.

Your main responsibilities: Analyzing business and system requirements

• Creating business documentation and functional specifications
• Designing solutions supporting financial instrument trading
• Collaborating with development and testing teams in Agile methodology
• Supporting the valuation process of derivative instruments
• Coordinating project activities and reporting progress
• Participating in acceptance testing and solution validation
• Collaborating with stakeholders in an international environment

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in interbank market systems
• Possess excellent knowledge of financial instruments (Bonds, IRS, CIRS, FX and IR Options)
• Are able to value derivative instruments
• Have experience working with interbank platforms (e.g., BBG ALLQ, MarketAxess, Tradeweb)
• Know project management methodologies and can work in a team
• Have strong analytical skills
• Have experience in creating business analyses and designing applications
• Understand the subject matter and financial market products
• Speak English at a minimum B2 level
• Are proficient in MS Office

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in Agile methodology
• Knowledge of system analysis methods
• Ability to use BPMN tools
• Basic knowledge of UML
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience in an international environment
• Strong communication skills
