Warsaw based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Senior Business System Analyst you will be working for our client, one of the leading leasing companies in Poland, on the delivery and optimization of internal systems that support key business functions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality requirements gathering, documentation, and system alignment. You will help transform complex business needs into scalable technical solutions while supporting agile development teams and improving existing processes across the organization.

Your main responsibilities:Close cooperation with internal business clients as well as with developers, testers, and system administrators

  • Independent analysis and modeling of business processes
  • Independent feasibility analysis of requirements
  • Describing requirements in the form of User Stories
  • Creating analytical/technical documentation in Confluence
  • Supervising project team work – verifying that the solution aligns with the requirements and assumptions
  • Participating in the preparation of test plans and verifying test scenarios before execution
  • Supporting internal testing of developed solutions
  • Providing Helpdesk support in analyzing complex incidents
  • Collaborating with external software vendors
  • Presenting solutions to stakeholders

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Higher education in computer science
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project implementation as a business/system analyst (professional experience in gathering, specifying, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements, as well as identifying system assumptions and constraints)
  • Good knowledge of SQL (sufficient for conducting data analysis)
  • Familiarity with UML and BPMN notations
  • Knowledge of CASE tools such as Enterprise Architect
  • Knowledge of and experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • Knowledge of requirements description methods in the form of User Stories or Use Cases
  • Teamwork skills, creativity, and good work organization
  • Analytical thinking, commitment to assigned tasks, and the ability to solve problems and cope with time pressure
  • Ability to create technical and training documentation
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to communicate effectively with developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders
  • Experience in independently analyzing large business initiatives

Nice to have:

  • Experience in automotive insurance projects
  • Experience in designing web applications
  • Experience working with Oracle or MS SQL Server databases
  • Knowledge of leasing-related topics
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (formerly TFS)
  • Experience designing IT system architectures, taking into account security and performance requirements, including designing integrations between systems using the REST API standard
  • English language proficiency sufficient to read documentation and report bugs to foreign vendors
