Senior Cloud Solution Architect

Warsaw-based with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect, you will be working for our client, a leader in online banking. You will be responsible for designing and configuring a secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support key banking applications. Your role will be vital in helping the client migrate and optimize applications in the cloud, ensuring they meet business needs while minimizing costs. You’ll collaborate with various teams and share your knowledge through workshops, contributing to the transformation of the client’s cloud strategy and operations.

Your main responsibilities: Plan and define the target configuration of the public cloud environment (Landing Zone) for migrated and newly built applications

• Consult with internal teams to align cloud architecture with the organization’s logical and corporate configurations
• Map business requirements to specific cloud solutions, particularly PaaS offerings
• Estimate and optimize the costs of public cloud services for applications built or migrated to the cloud
• Support migration projects to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Participate in knowledge transfer activities such as workshops and presentations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Extensive experience with GCP services, including Storage, Compute (Serverless), Networking, and DevOps
• Solid understanding of Cloud Native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of public cloud services, their limitations, and how to design them to meet business or technical objectives
• Basic programming language skills, a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, and experience with cloud database services
• Experience with logical and physical application architecture and the design process in cloud environments
• Understanding of cloud service billing models and ability to analyze costs during the design of cloud solutions
• Ability to define technical standards for cloud environments and recommend new solutions based on trends
• Good command in English for communication and documentation

It’s a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications confirming qualifications in the GCP area (e.g., CDL, ACE, PCA)
• Knowledge of: GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Artifactory, Nexus, Prometheus, API
