Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader focused on building scalable, secure, and cloud-native platforms to support modern banking services. You’ll be joining a cross-functional team delivering high-quality, production-ready features in iterative cycles, with strong emphasis on ownership and long-term maintainability. The client values engineers who can not only write robust code but also support what they build, tackle technical debt, and ensure systems meet global performance and security standards. Your role will span backend and frontend development, system design, and hands-on DevSecOps integration.

Your main responsibilities:Translating business requirements into iterative, shippable user stories

• Designing technical solutions aligned with architectural guidelines and constraints
• Pairing with teammates to solve problems and share knowledge
• Writing and maintaining clean, efficient, and testable code
• Supporting the systems you build as part of a DevOps ownership model
• Identifying and addressing areas of technical debt
• Collaborating daily with global teams across time zones
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices
• Integrating and consuming RESTful APIs
• Building full stack applications using Java and JavaScript technologies

• You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven expertise in at least one programming language, such as Java or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with both backend and frontend development
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and HTTP principles
• Experience working in Unix-based environments
• Understanding of relational databases and their setup
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools
• DevSecOps mindset with a focus on automation and secure development
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in distributed teams
• Ability to take ownership of code from design to production support
• Background in agile and iterative delivery environments

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge in cybersecurity and vulnerability management
• Exposure to infrastructure as code and containerization (e.g., Docker, Terraform)
• Previous experience supporting systems in production environments
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
