As a Java + React Developer, you will be working for our client, a prominent player in the global financial market within the investment banking sector. The GFX business is an integral part of one of the client’s divisions, generating millions of transactions across various financial markets. Joining the GIS IT team, you’ll develop applications providing FX Prime Brokerage services to alternative fund managers, FX Hedging services to Asset Managers, and FX order management and execution to Custodians worldwide.

Your main responsibilities:

• Function as part of the GFX Trade Reporting team, delivering technical solutions to business and regulatory teams
• Design and develop end-to-end solutions in line with regulatory and business requirements
• Develop microservices and deploy using approved patterns
• Participate in support triage and ensure smooth functioning of developed solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of IT software development experience with strong technical knowledge
• Solid proficiency in Java 11+ and relational databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Sybase
• Experience in XML, REST, and messaging technologies, along with UI development in React
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both local and global teams in an Agile environment
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in Python programming
• Knowledge of Foreign Exchange trading and lifecycle management
• Familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus monitoring tools
• A flexible approach to delivery responsibility
