Senior Magento Developer

Wroclaw and Berlin-based opportunity with the possibility to work entirely remotely 

As a Magento Developer, you will have an opportunity to work on the latest technologies and solutions in the eCommerce area for our Client, who ranks among the top worldwide distributors of workplace supplies solutions to businesses – active in 42 countries on 4 continents with more than 1 mln customers. You will join the team creating the next-generation e-commerce platform that aims to provide a seamless end-to-end journey for customers. This e-commerce program will be piloted in France, Italy, and Sweden.

Your main responsibilities: Creating solutions based on Magento in accordance with the best standards

• Working at the intersection of multiple technologies, in a large and advanced e-commerce system based on Magento 1
• Implementing high-quality solutions in close cooperation with the project team (PM, leader, developers, business analysts, QA, UX)
• Acting as support for the technical part of the project (continuous deployment), quality and security of the applications
• Designing and implementing specific architecture systems with the support from the Lead Developer
• Providing technical knowledge to clients or focusing your efforts on technical development

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 4 years of experience with PHP 7, PSR standards, Magento 1, unit and integration tests using PHPUnit
• Understanding and usage of design patterns and good practices like SOLID
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of technologies such RabbitMQ, Varnish, and Elasticsearch
• Knowledge that allows you to debug issues between them and Magento core
• Fluent Polish and English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Past experience in the e-Commerce sector
