As a Senior Mobile DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. Your role involves transforming digital capabilities, driving innovation, and enhancing engineering practices.

Your main responsibilities:

• Build custom tooling in Python to automate processes
• Monitor, maintain, and extend Mobile CI Infrastructure
• Provide incident management support for production systems
• Ensure mobile services adhere to Client’s controls and standards
• Engage in the Mobile Engineering Discipline and communities
• Expanding the CI capability
• Supporting procurement of external services
• Building tooling to support automated app releases
• Building custom tooling for our development teams
• Engaging with the development teams to identify common problems and solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, BuildKite or similar CI/CD platforms
• Proficiency in Python for IT automation
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and mobile app development
• Understanding how Mobile apps are built using tools such as Gradle and Xcode build
• Understanding of Git commands
• Experience in performing root causes analysis on build and test automation logs
• Familiarity with Ansible, Vagrant
• Experience usin Swift, Kotlin, for producing iOS/Android applications
• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and AWS
• Expertise in Python for automation and cross-team collaboration
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics or Prometheus
• Bash scripting skills
• Working knowledge of Java and the JVM (memory spaces)
• Performance testing
