Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 70% remote.

As a Senior UX/UI Researcher, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on cybersecurity, helping to create a seamless and secure user experience for its employees worldwide. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth user research to identify pain points, define problems, and develop user-centered design solutions. Your work will directly contribute to improving the accessibility and usability of cybersecurity tools and services, ensuring a secure and efficient digital environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to align research insights with business and security objectives.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Planning, designing, and conducting qualitative and quantitative user research methods such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Analyzing user behaviors, needs, and pain points to drive design decisions based on research insights
  • Developing research protocols, scripts, and questions to extract actionable insights
  • Identifying and validating user personas to represent key segments of the target audience
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize research activities based on project goals and timelines
  • Defining problem statements based on user findings to align the team on a clear, shared understanding of user challenges
  • Synthesizing research data into meaningful insight maps to uncover root causes and systemic issues
  • Creating journey maps, user flows, and empathy maps to illustrate the user experience and identify friction points
  • Conducting usability testing to validate design solutions and iterate based on user feedback
  • Maintaining a repository of research findings, personas, and problem definitions for reference and ongoing updates

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in UX/HCI, cognitive psychology, graphic design, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design with a strong emphasis on user research and problem-solving
  • Fluent English
  • Proven experience conducting end-to-end user research
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders
  • Experience working on at least 3 design projects involving complex applications
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
  • Experience with creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or React
  • Experience in complex, technical, or cybersecurity-related industries
