As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be working for our client, a prominent global financial institution focused on maintaining and operating critical cybersecurity technologies. The project ensures the highest standards of availability and security across all cybersecurity tools, supporting the organization’s resilience against significant disruptions. You will be part of the Global Cybersecurity SRE team, responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing cybersecurity operations to support business continuity.

Your main responsibilities: Serving as a Security Engineer supporting technical operations for critical cybersecurity technologies

  • Providing support for cybersecurity tools under Endpoint security
  • Setting up monitoring and event management for cybersecurity products to manage availability, reliability, and performance
  • Performing cybersecurity application upgrades, product hygiene, and maintenance
  • Operating in accordance with ITIL processes such as Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management
  • Identifying operational gaps and driving continual service improvement plans for existing processes
  • Building tool knowledgebase and establishing/enhancing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Working collaboratively with Cybersecurity and other lines of business (LOBs)
  • Enabling change work to be carried out by working with other teams and raising changes in accordance with company policies

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Relevant experience working with endpoint security tools such as McAfee ENS, CrowdStrike, or any EDR solution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using change submission tools like GSD and ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with Unix and Windows operating systems
  • Experience working under strict policies to meet regulatory and security requirements
  • Clear oral and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts to a broader audience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and demonstrate personal responsibility to ensure completion
  • Experience working on various cloud platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing strong collaborative skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and industry standards
  • Experience with advanced monitoring and event management tools
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency
  • Experience in large-scale cybersecurity operations
  • Certification in relevant cybersecurity fields or technologies
