As a Storage Automation and Testing Engineer,  you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing advanced storage solutions and automation systems. Your responsibilities will focus on building and optimizing storage infrastructures, enhancing system reliability, and supporting critical business operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in automation, storage technologies, and DevOps practices to drive innovation and operational excellence.

You’re ideal for this role if you have: Developing and maintaining automation frameworks for infrastructure management

  • Configuring, testing, and certifying storage systems and solutions
  • Providing enterprise infrastructure services, including UNIX/Linux servers, Windows, and storage systems
  • Creating and optimizing automation pipelines for provisioning, patching, and compliance
  • Ensuring service quality targets are met across infrastructure platforms
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable storage solutions
  • Implementing and managing DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure products
  • Developing and testing REST API services for seamless integration across systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex storage and infrastructure issues
  • Documenting solutions and processes for knowledge sharing and compliance

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Expertise in automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Hands-on experience with storage technologies like Dell PowerMax, Pure FlashArray, or NetApp
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
  • Solid experience with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure security principles and patch management
  • Familiarity with server operating systems, including Linux and Windows
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize storage automation solutions
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach to staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with cloud storage technologies such as AWS S3 or GCP
  • Familiarity with data migration tools like StorageX and OCUM-AIQ
  • Certifications in relevant technologies, such as EMC, NetApp, or cloud platforms
  • Background in Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Expertise in infrastructure orchestration tools like Puppet or Chef
