As a Vulnerability Management Operations Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services. In this role, you will join a dedicated team focused on tracking and managing vulnerability remediation activities, ensuring compliance with security standards. Your work will involve operational management of vulnerability data, tool administration, and collaboration with various internal teams to support and enhance cybersecurity measures.
Your main responsibilities:
- Uplifting the Vulnerability Consolidation Platform to enhance scanning capabilities
- Ensuring all vulnerability data feeds function correctly and new feeds are delivered on schedule
- Reviewing compliance reports and implementing corrective actions for any discrepancies
- Monitoring the Vulnerability Consolidation Platform and escalating issues as needed
- Managing user access and administration on the platform
- Creating dashboards for the Vulnerability Consolidation Platform
- Monitoring and resolving issues with the central planning platform and its interlinked environments
- Producing routine operational reports and resolving data variances
- Ensuring clear and concise senior management reporting
- Collaborating with cyclical patching teams and interlinked control areas to drive remediation planning
- Prioritizing time-sensitive decommissions in collaboration with the team
- Identifying, prioritizing, and reporting open vulnerabilities from evergreening activities
- Managing relationships between the VM and Evergreening teams
- Planning and executing meeting agendas, monitoring attendance, and tracking actions
- Performing ad hoc tasks to support operational and governance activities within CSAT
- Maintaining the client’s values across all communication channels
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Understanding of the Vulnerability Management lifecycle and Patch management
- Expert usage of Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables and manipulating large data sets
- Ability to export data from existing systems/applications
- Experience identifying issues and tracking them to resolution
- Excellent organizational, administrative, analytical, and data management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience with senior management reporting and presentations
- Experience influencing, challenging, and managing stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
- Understanding of Microsoft Teams and Confluence
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with vulnerability management and remediation tools
- Knowledge of Power BI dashboards and other reporting tools
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of SQL and database management
- Experience with cloud environments and associated security practices
- Understanding of network security principles
- Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages
- Previous experience in a global organization
