Senior Full Stack Developer – Java, Spring, APIs

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote per week).

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking and finance industry, dedicated to transforming digital banking platforms for entrepreneurs. Your expertise will help shape scalable, secure, and innovative financial solutions used by over 2 million users, contributing to the company’s digital transformation and growth initiatives.

Your main responsibilities:

• Translate strategic objectives into high-quality, maintainable technical solutions, driving digital innovation.
• Lead design and development activities across the entire software lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver aligned solutions.
• Support Agile and Waterfall projects through active participation in planning, reviews, and delivery.
• Proactively address technical debt, optimize code, and contribute to system performance, resilience, and reusability.
• Provide hands-on mentoring and code reviews to junior engineers, promoting engineering excellence.
• Contribute to DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automation, observability, and operational stability.
• Participate in support activities, including incident investigation and root-cause analysis, with a focus on continuous improvement.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in software development, with strong back-end expertise.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools: Jenkins, Git/GitHub, SonarQube, Ansible, Jira, Confluence.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks like JUnit.
• Proven ability to mentor others and promote best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and a forward-thinking mindset aligned with strategic goals.
• Excellent communication skills in English (communicative level).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Front-end development experience.
• Exposure to Spring Cloud, MuleSoft, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker.
• Development experience with Seeburger BIS, EDI, or similar integration platforms.
• Background in production support, incident management, and service reliability.

Language required for this role:

• English – good command, communicative level.
