As an Agile Scrum Master, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, where you will be part of a dynamic development pod within the Identity and Access Management Technology team. The team focuses on delivering secure and efficient identity solutions, and you will play a key role in managing the Agile process. You will oversee the completion of tasks and scrum ceremonies while ensuring smooth service operations, all in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This position offers opportunities for growth and continuous improvement in a highly collaborative setting.
Your main responsibilities: Leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews
- Managing and maintaining Azure DevOps boards to track and report on sprint tasks
- Ensuring timely completion of tasks and reporting progress accurately to stakeholders
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to track and report on service compliance
- Assisting in the management of technical services, ensuring their health and compliance with required standards
- Collaborating with audit teams to ensure all tasks are completed on time
- Supporting the team in identifying and removing impediments to progress
- Promoting a collaborative and continuous improvement environment
- Managing incident, problem, change, and release management processes
- Monitoring and tracking the performance of technical services to meet service level
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 3+ years of experience as an Agile Lead, Scrum Master, or IT Team Leader
- Experience in managing IT services and reporting on service compliance
- Familiarity with task completion and accurate progress reporting in Agile frameworks
- Hands-on experience with incident, problem, change, and release management
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- A strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture and its components
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a calm and solution-focused
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Knowledge in Splunk or similar monitoring tools
- Experience with the .NET framework or related technologies
- Familiarity with automated testing, TDD, and BDD methodologies
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and related controls
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and REST API concepts
- Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow
- A flexible and adaptable attitude towards change and challenge
- Understanding of database operations and management
- Prior experience working in financial services or security-focused IT teams
- Ability to mentor junior team members and promote best practices
