Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)

As a BA Engineering Enablement you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing rapid technological transformation in the cybersecurity domain. You will join a high-impact engineering team focused on enhancing security posture through advanced defensive solutions. Operating at the intersection of business and technology, the team supports the development and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives aligned with global risk and compliance goals. You will contribute to shaping future-ready solutions by translating business needs into actionable engineering deliverables and facilitating cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

Your main responsibilities: Gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications

  • Collaborating with engineering teams to support solution design and delivery
  • Documenting and analysing business processes across security-related initiatives
  • Creating and refining user stories and managing the product backlog
  • Supporting change management efforts and stakeholder engagement
  • Conducting impact assessments and supporting implementation readiness activities
  • Ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Driving continuous improvement across product and delivery processes
  • Engaging in Agile ceremonies and contributing to DevOps practices
  • Advising on risk exposure and helping prioritize secure delivery approaches

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in business analysis within a technology or cybersecurity function
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation and user stories
  • Experience in tools like JIRA, Confluence and collaboration platforms
  • Familiarity with DevOps environments and tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset and a focus on delivering business value
  • Demonstrated experience with risk and compliance frameworks
  • Strong team collaboration skills and willingness to mentor others

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Background working in or alongside cybersecurity engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with SAFE or Disciplined Agile frameworks
  • Technical knowledge of APIs, data privacy, and protection controls
  • Exposure to data regulations such as GDPR or CCPA
  • Experience working in a global or financial services organisation
