Cybersecurity Tester – SNOW Enhancements

As a Cybersecurity Tester – SNOW Enhancements, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, focusing on testing workflows within the ServiceNow platform for identity and access management (IAM) projects. Your role will be to ensure that the developed solutions are fit for purpose, conform to the project schedule, and meet high-quality standards. Working closely with developers, business analysts, and the wider project team, you will use an agile approach to create and execute test plans and cases, ensuring smooth project delivery.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing test plans that clearly define the testing approach and required outcomes
• Understanding system processes within ServiceNow to gather and manage test data
• Turning project requirements into test cases using Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts
• Executing functional, non-functional, exploratory, and regression tests
• Documenting and reporting any issues found during testing
• Estimating test duration and resource needs while negotiating adjustments when necessary
• Supporting other teams and projects on a consultancy basis when required
• Facilitating and presenting progress in Show and Tell meetings
• Ensuring adherence to security standards, including IDAM and internal guidelines
• Creating and maintaining mandatory system documentation and test reports

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAAT) or equivalent certification
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with 2+ years in ServiceNow workflows for IAM
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts for personal and service accounts
• Familiarity with ServiceNow functionality, including API integration
• Experience in Agile Scrum practices and methodologies
• Strong Core Java development skills and experience in automated testing
• Proven ability to document test cases and link ATF to ServiceNow workflows
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and active listening skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or within a team to deliver project outcomes

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience testing ServiceNow applications for 2+ years
• Agile certification or relevant ServiceNow certifications
• Hands-on experience with ATF tools for automation and manual test scripting
• Familiarity with working in Agile environments using Jira
