Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office)!

As a Frontend Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader currently modernizing a large-scale, enterprise-grade digital banking platform used by businesses worldwide. The project focuses on revamping a long-standing financial web application, delivering advanced online and mobile payment capabilities. You will be part of a highly skilled agile team developing customer-facing interfaces using modern frameworks and best-in-class engineering practices. This is your opportunity to shape the user experience of an application relied on by thousands of corporate clients around the globe.

Your main responsibilities: Participating in the design, development, and testing of frontend solutions

• Reviewing technical deliverables to ensure high-quality output
• Collaborating with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs
• Developing reusable components using React and Redux
• Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code using modern JavaScript standards
• Following agile development processes and contributing to team ceremonies
• Implementing client-side rendering and server-side rendering with Express.js
• Conducting thorough testing using React Testing Library and Jest
• Supporting micro frontend integration within a scalable architecture
• Applying UI/UX best practices to build responsive and accessible user interfaces

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Deep understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with Redux for state management
• Strong skills in Express.js for server-side rendering
• Hands-on experience with React Testing Library and Jest
• Proficiency in working with REST APIs and async JavaScript patterns
• Experience in building responsive, cross-browser, and cross-device interfaces
• Familiarity with Git and modern UI build tools such as NPM
• Ability to write clean, semantic, and well-documented code
• Knowledge of agile and Scrum methodologies

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Prior experience working with micro frontend architectures
• Exposure to functional programming principles in JavaScript
• Understanding of accessibility standards and implementation techniques
• Experience navigating and maintaining large, complex codebases
• Background in delivering enterprise applications with performance optimization
