As an IAM Privileged Access Management SME, you will be working for our client, a global financial services institution, focusing on enhancing their cybersecurity framework within the Identity Access Management (IAM) Controls Team. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and ensuring compliance with the organization’s privileged access policies, identifying potential security risks, and contributing to the overall security of the IT estate. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders to remediate access issues and support ongoing change initiatives to align with the client’s global technology and regulatory requirements.
Your main responsibilities:
- Producing privileged access compliance reports
- Assisting stakeholders in remediating non-compliant privileged access accounts
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving security exposures and control issues
- Reporting on the effectiveness of key controls and recommending corrective actions
- Communicating status on key deliverables for both business-as-usual and change initiatives
- Ensuring adherence to compliance and operational risk controls in line with regulatory standards
- Retaining evidence for audit purposes related to privileged access controls
- Researching and identifying IAM enhancement opportunities for automation and process improvements
- Supporting IAM change initiatives to deliver successful control outcomes
- Maintaining internal control standards and addressing audit points timely
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Operational experience with privileged access management in financial services
- Technical expertise in systems such as Mainframe, UNIX, and Databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting
- Proven ability to make rational decisions based on relevant information
- A flexible approach to change management and a proactive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adapting to various audiences
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, especially in a global environment
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership of your tasks and development
- Experience in supporting compliance with cybersecurity standards
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
- Experience with IAM automation tools and technologies
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and operational risk management
- A track record of delivering IAM change initiatives successfully
