Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)

As a Kubernetes Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be working for our client, a leading global financial services provider, on a critical infrastructure project. You will be building, scaling, and maintaining their IKP infrastructure, ensuring high reliability and performance of systems that support essential business operations. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex production issues, and automate processes to improve system efficiency, playing a key role in maintaining a resilient and scalable environment for the client’s technology platforms.

Your main responsibilities: Ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the IKP infrastructure

  • Collaborating in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues
  • Supporting the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters
  • Troubleshooting incidents and performing root cause analysis
  • Implementing reliability improvements and automating processes
  • Monitoring system health and performance using observability tools
  • Managing containerized workloads and orchestration processes
  • Performing Unix system administration and maintenance tasks
  • Providing weekend support as required
  • Documenting processes and sharing knowledge with team members

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 7-10 years of experience working on Kubernetes environments
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts
  • Proficiency in observability and logging tools
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Unix/Linux system administration
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues
  • Experience in troubleshooting production incidents
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with Service Meshes
