Senior Android Developer

Location: Warszawa with a 100% remote work

As a Senior Android Developer, you will be working for our client,a leading bank and financial institution offering a wide range of services to individuals, small businesses, and large corporations. You will participate in a project focused on transferring mobile application code to Poland and adapting it to frameworks provided by the bank’s new owner. Your work will combine maintaining and enhancing existing functionalities with actively contributing to the creation of the roadmap and unification of mobile solutions that directly impact customer experience.

Your main responsibilities: Developing and maintaining existing functionalities of the Android mobile application

• Implementing new modules based on the framework delivered by the bank’s new owner
• Writing high-quality code in Kotlin following best practices
• Collaborating with the project team within the Tribe Omnichannel
• Contributing to the unification of applications and product roadmap planning
• Building user interfaces using Compose UI
• Using Dagger and Coroutines for dependency management and asynchronous tasks
• Testing the application and ensuring its stability in production
• Supporting the team during occasional on-call duties

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in Android application development
• Possess strong expertise in Kotlin and can apply it in complex projects
• Are skilled in Compose UI and building modern user interfaces
• Know how to work with Coroutines and manage asynchronous processes
• Have experience with Dagger or other dependency injection tools
• Can write tests and use tools that support code quality
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team
• Are comfortable working in Agile methodologies

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in projects within the banking sector
• Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment automation processes
• Familiarity with mobile application monitoring tools
• Experience working in international teams
• Willingness to occasionally take part in on-call duties
