Senior Cloud Data Engineer – Java, Python, AI

Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 remote days per week).

As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer, you will be working for our client in the technology-driven enterprise space in Europe. You will help design and deliver modern, cloud-based data platforms and large-scale processing solutions that enable reliable analytics and next-generation AI/ML use cases. Your expertise will contribute to production-grade engineering, reusable frameworks, and cross-team initiatives that elevate quality and speed of delivery.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, production-ready code across data engineering solutions.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives, driving alignment and delivery across stakeholders.
• Build and evolve libraries and frameworks that enable reliable, testable, and scalable systems.
• Design and maintain large-scale data pipelines and distributed processing workflows.
• Work hands-on with modern cloud-based data platforms and cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate on solutions that support GenAI/ML-based applications and downstream consumption.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering / software engineering for data platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Python in production environments.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Proven background building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and distributed processing systems.
• Experience with Spark, Snowflake, and/or Databricks.
• Exposure (5+ years) to GenAI/ML-based applications, ideally including LangChain, LangGraph, and/or LLM application development.
