Senior IT Cost and Contract Manager

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office)

As a Senior IT Cost and Contract Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undertaking a multi-billion-dollar transformation of its IT services. The role sits within a governance-focused team dedicated to optimizing third-party technology spend, ensuring cost transparency, and driving process improvements across a complex, global IT environment. You will be collaborating with technology and procurement stakeholders worldwide, analyzing cost structures, and ensuring compliance with internal control standards while enabling strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization.

Your main responsibilities: Supporting governance of third-party IT spend across multiple geographies

  • Analyzing and interpreting data to support cost optimization initiatives
  • Developing and presenting complex data insights to senior stakeholders
  • Collaborating with Technology and Procurement teams to ensure alignment on spend strategies
  • Improving and automating cost management and contract tracking processes
  • Maintaining compliance with internal controls and group policies
  • Managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Creating and delivering reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Identifying areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency
  • Contributing to the development of best practices in IT contract management

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in IT cost and contract management
  • Advanced skills in Excel for data manipulation and analysis
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level reporting and presentations
  • Experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with third-party IT spend, including software, hardware, and services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor management processes
  • Ability to manage data from various sources and systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and innovation

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with IT supplier management and technical platforms
  • Understanding of global IT delivery models and sourcing strategies
  • Background in cost reduction or optimization programs
  • Familiarity with IT Vendor Management policies
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and cultures
