Senior MLOps Engineer

As a Senior MLOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading data and AI consultancy that supports both scaleups and global enterprises in building cutting-edge solutions across machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and advanced analytics. You will join a cross-functional team working on ML and GenAI platforms for some of the world’s most recognizable brands. In this strategic and audit-oriented role, you will not only shape robust infrastructure and workflows, but also collaborate directly with stakeholders, including C-level executives and clients, ensuring smooth delivery and governance of ML operations across projects.

Your main responsibilities: Design, configure, and manage GCP and Kubernetes resources for scalable ML operations

• Build and maintain ML pipelines using Kubeflow and/or Vertex AI
• Contribute to infrastructure, pipeline, and ML codebases within GitHub repositories
• Containerize and orchestrate DS/ML applications and automate workflows
• Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting for ML systems
• Profile and optimize Python-based ML code for performance and efficiency
• Adjust and scale cloud components dynamically based on performance metrics
• Collaborate with platform and data teams to integrate BigQuery, GCS, and Airflow workflows
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, clients, and executive leadership
• Provide audit, supervision, and oversight across MLOps processes and project delivery

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery data warehouse solutions
• Solid experience with Kubeflow and/or Vertex AI in production environments
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster
• Experience working with MLFlow or similar tools for experiment tracking
• Understanding of distributed training and ML frameworks such as Spark, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for automating ML model deployment
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to executives and clients
• Strong auditing mindset and ability to supervise and oversee complex ML workflows
