Senior Program/Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, overseeing the delivery of strategic projects within the Securities Services Technology Programme. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of technology-enabled initiatives, driving sustainable business outcomes.

Your main responsibilities: Leading the programme delivery team, managing stakeholders across Technology, Operations & Product

• Taking ownership of all technology components throughout project development and implementation
• Developing detailed IT work plans, schedules, and resource plans
• Providing strategic influence and control over programme resources and finances
• Implementing effective programme governance and delivery processes
• Proactively identifying and managing risks and issues, escalating when necessary
• Monitoring expectations of programme sponsors and stakeholders
• Ensuring transparent control of the programme budget and financial cycle
• Adhering to quality and timeliness standards for programme artefacts
• Demonstrating knowledge of technology ecosystems and business architecture

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 15+ years of complex Project and Programme Management experience in a technology organization
• Proven leadership skills fostering clear, measurable goal attainment
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and engagement abilities
• Customer-first approach and a growth mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remove barriers
• Expertise in financial and budget management, data analysis, and KPIs management
• Confidence and experience in crisis and risk management
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
• Professional qualifications such as PMP/PgMP, Prince 2, or Agile/Scrum certification
