Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution committed to delivering high-value investment banking solutions. You will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations while delivering practical solutions.

Your main responsibilities: Lead and oversee complex projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget

• Engage with senior stakeholders to drive decision-making and provide strategic updates
• Manage project planning, including backlog maintenance and securing stakeholder commitments
• Define and challenge business requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility
• Monitor project execution and proactively identify and remove roadblocks
• Organize and coordinate workstreams, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
• Manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring smooth project execution
• Conduct ROI assessments, “what if” analyses, and other project evaluations
• Prepare presentations, monitor budgets, and create roadmaps for project tracking
• Drive continuous improvement of project management methodologies and tools

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally in investment banking
• Strong knowledge of investment banking products and processes
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and managing expectations
• Ability to handle conflict resolution and align competing interests
• Experience working with global and geographically dispersed teams
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of working under tight deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously, taking initiative to drive project success
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to facilitate collaboration
• Experience with financial analysis, ROI calculations, and project budgeting
• A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach to project methodologies
