Senior Python Developer

This is a remote opportunity – work from home full-time.

As a Senior Python Developer, you will be working for our client, a dynamic startup that has developed software to automatically calculate and reduce the environmental impact of chemical products. You will be responsible for enhancing and expanding backend applications.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and enhance backend applications using Python, including technical documentation

• Analyze existing application code for improvements
• Improve automated backend tests using Pytest and Gitlab
• Expand database concepts and develop features for user data storage
• Adapt REST interfaces to align with new concepts

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Fluent English skills
• 5 years of experience with Python
• Experience with Gitlab and its pipeline features
• Proficiency in Pytest for automated test adjustments
• Strong knowledge of SQL Alchemy
• Experience with Fast API / REST interfaces
• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
