Technical Lead Engineer (Mobile – iOS)

As a Technical Lead Engineer (Mobile – iOS) you will be working for our client, a global financial institution launching a new digital investment platform aimed at transforming mobile banking experiences. You will join an ambitious, agile team dedicated to building scalable, secure, and intuitive mobile applications using the latest iOS technologies. This initiative will allow millions of users to access investment tools through a seamless and personalized interface. As a key technical leader, you will drive mobile engineering excellence, ensure code quality, mentor team members, and shape the architectural foundation of the platform.

Your main responsibilities:Leading development teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications

• Overseeing technical design and implementation across iOS projects
• Collaborating with stakeholders, designers, and product teams to meet business needs
• Writing clean, scalable, and testable code using Swift and Objective-C
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation testing strategies
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive technical feedback
• Maintaining high security standards across all development practices
• Driving continuous improvement and managing technical debt
• Creating and maintaining architectural documentation and technical guides
• Staying current with mobile trends and integrating new technologies as needed

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in a senior iOS development role
• Expert knowledge of Swift and Objective-C
• Strong background in mobile app architecture and design patterns
• Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks such as XCTest or Appium
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and secure mobile development practices
• Ability to mentor and lead technical teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and mobile data handling
• Deep understanding of Apple HIG and accessibility standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years in engineering

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with platform frameworks or reusable libraries
• Familiarity with dependency managers like Cocoapods
• Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Top 10 and secure networking concepts
• Experience with SAST/MAST tooling and performance optimization
• Exposure to DevOps culture and Agile development environments
• Understanding of Redux, MVVM, MVC, or UDF patterns
• Skills in integrating third-party SDKs in financial or secure environments
• Experience delivering mobile products at scale for global users
• Ability to write blog posts or give presentations to share knowledge
• Willingness to contribute to long-term technology strategy and roadmaps
