Mid to Senior Business Analyst – Banking & Financial IT

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the online banking sector dedicated to delivering innovative digital solutions for accounts and savings products. You will support complex IT and business initiatives focused on modernizing core banking systems and enhancing customer-facing financial services. Your main responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements during project initiation and delivery phases
• Develop functional and non-functional requirements specifications and high-level solution designs
• Support analytical work performed by vendors and internal banking units
• Define and analyze banking processes in cooperation with business stakeholders
• Collaborate with system architects, designers, and internal domain experts
• Prepare and review user and automated test scenarios
• Conduct functional testing and support business acceptance testing
• Review technical documentation, architecture, and applied technologies
• Support system parameterization and provide expert guidance post-implementation

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least five years of experience in a Business Analyst role working with business stakeholders
• Experience in banking or financial IT projects
• Strong knowledge of banking processes, regulations, and business operations
• Practical experience in business and system requirements analysis and documentation
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and IT system architecture
• Experience with system and data integration concepts
• Hands-on knowledge of relational databases and data modeling
• Experience in functional and UAT testing activities
• Proficiency with analytical and documentation tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Certifications related to Business Analysis or Banking (e.g., CBAP, CFA)

Language Required for the role:

• Polish (Good command)
• English (Communicative level)
