Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/a month).
As a Cloud Engineer DevOps/Admin, you will be working for our client, a leader in online banking. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouse systems and analytics in a cloud environment. You will work on projects in public, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructures. Your contributions will be key to the technical success and continuous improvement of the client’s cloud services.
Your main responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain data warehouse and analytics systems in the cloud
- Work on projects in public, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments
- Design and participate in internal software testing
- Collaborate with implementation teams from concept through to maintenance and continuous development
- Plan, implement, and develop infrastructure monitoring systems
- Design and develop automated creation and configuration management processes
- Develop infrastructure as code
- Design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
- Maintain applications in containers
- Analyze, handle, and resolve detected issues
- Create and update technical and functional system documentation
- Promote best practices for Azure/GCP platforms
- Support in reviewing technical specifications and project documentation
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A higher education degree in a technical field (IT preferred)
- Experience working in a regulated corporate environment
- At least 3 years of experience in complex data processing environments like data warehouses or analytical systems
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Azure or Google Cloud
- At least 1 year of experience as a database administrator
- At least 2 years of experience as a developer, implementer, or CI/CD engineer for cloud applications using tools like Azure DevOps, Ansible, or Jenkins
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Expertise with Git and experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker and Azure Container Registry
- Good level of English enabling working with documantation
- Strong organizational and planning skills focused on task and goal achievement
- Ability to quickly analyze and interpret information from multiple sources
- Confidence in asking questions and seeking information
- Willingness to collaborate in a team and positive attitude towards working with internal clients
- Desire for continuous learning and self-improvement, and readiness to take on project responsibility
It’s a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in migrating systems, services, and users from on-premises environments to the cloud
- Basic knowledge of network concepts such as LAN/WAN, network devices, Firewall, Proxy, Load Balancer, HTTP(s), SSH, TCP/IP, REST, SOAP network services
- Experience with Hadoop technologies, such as HDFS, Pig, Hive, Impala, Spark, and managing Hadoop systems
- Experience working with Machine Learning platforms and tools (e.g., Kubeflow)
- Cloud technology certifications (Azure, GCP – preferred)
