As a Senior Scala Developer – Data & AI Platforms, you will be working for our client, an industry leader dedicated to advancing product data validation and analysis through cutting-edge technology solutions. Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient manual verification methods for product data, optimizing processes with prototypes built in TypeScript, React, and Scala.
• Enhance the Rynker system by developing analytical tools for market and product structure analysis, collaborating closely with commercial, SEO, and Quality teams.
• Implement and maintain a two-step data repair process, utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Scala, and Apache Spark to generate and propagate data corrections automatically.
• Continuously optimize tools for performance and precision, ensuring seamless integration and effective data management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing features and drive innovative solutions within the platform.
• Maintain high-quality code standards, participate in code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Scala/Kotlin (with openness to learn the other).
• Strong expertise in SpringBoot, Spark, PostgreSQL, and AI technologies.
• Proven experience working in data-centric projects with a focus on AI/ML models.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working with Data Scientists and Analysts.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, Angular.
• Product management experience or familiarity with related workflows.

Language Required for the role:

• Polish: full professional proficiency.
• English: communicative level.
