This is a remote opportunity – work from home full-time.

As a Senior Python Developer, you will be working for our client, a dynamic startup that has developed software to automatically calculate and reduce the environmental impact of chemical products. You will be responsible for enhancing and expanding backend applications.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and enhance backend applications using Python, including technical documentation

Analyze existing application code for improvements
Improve automated backend tests using Pytest and Gitlab
Expand database concepts and develop features for user data storage
Adapt REST interfaces to align with new concepts

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

Fluent English skills
5+ years of experience with Python
Experience with Gitlab and its pipeline features
Proficiency in Pytest for automated test adjustments
Strong knowledge of SQL Alchemy
Experience with Fast API / REST interfaces
Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
