As a Senior Python Full Stack Security Engineer, you will be working for our client, a forward-thinking technology company dedicated to building secure, high-performance platforms. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing security-focused services, driving DevSecOps practices, and enhancing engineering resilience across cloud-native infrastructures. This is an exciting chance to make a tangible impact on digital security and innovation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design and develop secure application services and APIs, ensuring robust security standards.
- Lead technical design discussions and translate complex requirements into reliable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve intricate production issues, conducting thorough root-cause analyses.
- Improve service reliability and resilience through proactive engineering practices.
- Collaborate independently with a strong sense of ownership and cross-team teamwork.
- Engage with cloud technologies and DevSecOps tools to streamline secure software delivery.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, security, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Python 3.11+ and solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Django/FastAPI, TypeScript frameworks (Angular/NestJS).
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
- Knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and learning agility.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Basic understanding of open-source licenses (e.g., Apache-2.0, MIT, GPL).
- Familiarity with modern Python tooling (uv, Ruff, Rye), Git workflows.
- Knowledge of Go and Java.
- Understanding of identity protocols and standards: SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools like Claude Code and Codex.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and OpenAPI.
- Active technical engagement such as blogging, GitHub portfolio, or open-source contributions.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English communication skills.
